The Chair for General Business Administration/Operations Management devotes itself to process optimization along the supply chain, particularly in the fields of production and logistics. The goal is - amongst other things - to develop intelligent algorithms, in order to shape complex business processes. Thereby, the focus is on identification and mathematical formulation of practice-oriented problems, complexity analyses, as well as the development of efficient solution procedures and simulations. Current areas of research include industry 4.0, warehousing, and last mile logistics.
